A New Painting by Alex Lifeson for A Brush of Hope

Alex Lifeson has donated a signed, original piece he painted called “Aquarium” to the celebrity art auction,  A Brush of Hope, which raises funds for the Canadian Kidney Foundation. “This year, my painting subject is called “Aquarium”, a sort of “fish on acid” theme or what you might expect if you were visiting a lovely Martian family, strolling through their living room, drink in hand,” commented Lifeson. “Please have a look and if interested, bid. Rush to receive Key to YYZ

Mayor Tory to present Rush with key to the City of Toronto Mayor John Tory will present the key to the city to the members of Rush – Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart. Limited Edition print by Alex Lifeson

For a charity close to his heart, Alex Lifeson has made a limited number of prints available of his popular painting entitled “L’ami Geddy a L’ami Louis” that features his bandmate and lifelong friend, Geddy Lee, and himself. There are only 325 prints, of which Alex and Geddy have signed and numbered each. All proceeds from the sale of the prints will be going to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
